During the official opening ceremony of TeleGroup Tech Hub program, back in the November 2017, Aleksandar Antunović, COO of TeleGroup, has highlighted that Tech Hub is a “playground” for the young people that want to engage with modern technologies. The
program has been established with a goal to make IT industry even more attractive to young people, as well as to enable tech companies to learn and gather innovative ideas from younger generations.
“We are really pleased with the achieved results. The exceptional product has been created by the students with expert guidance from engineers of our company, and we plan to continue with activities regarding Tech Hub program. Excitement about the second
generation of students is already here and we plan to open applications at the beginning of the following year.”, said Jovica Kesić, Manager of the Software Development Department of TeleGroup Banja Luka.
Dean, professor Branko Blanuša Ph.D., has expressed his satisfaction with the project in the name of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, highlighting that Tech Hub is a great opportunity for students to apply their knowledge and gain business expertise,
which will consequently motivate them to study more and to valorize their knowledge in domestic companies, in order to keep young people in their countries with projects like this one.
Maja Mihajlović, the student of the 4th year at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Banja Luka and participant of the project, shared her views and what are the key takeaways of what participants had learned: “I am more than pleased
with the knowledge I have gained during the internship in TeleGoup, because we have learned how are the latest technologies in software development applied and I believe that this knowledge will be easily applicable when we start to work.”
